Pyral : The new string material BCY 450 and dynaflite 97 is stronger and has less strech then dacron and fastflight, once they settle in they don't strech anymore, they are just as quite as dacron , you might have to work on the bow a little more to get it quiet. I think a lot depends on the bow design . The added benefit is you gain a little speed. Not traditional ? you are buying a bow that is built with modern material , fiberglass and guled together with epoxy . Traditional is an attude, not if you shoot a selfbow , recurve , longbow , wood, alum. or carbon arrows,Shoot what you want on enjoy your new found direction.
