I was flipping through a catalog and noticed that a lot of bows are being made with reiforced limb tips to allow use of a Fast Flight string. Doesn't this kinda defeat the purpose of getting into traditional?

Correct me if I am wrong but a Dacron is quieter, and a little more forgiving....because it is slower. A recurve or longbow is by no means a speed demon so why try and turn a Ford Model T into a Drag racer?
