I would practice a few times in the dark like this time of year. That way you don't spook the deer, you'll get used to setting it up in the dark before it really counts, and you'll get an idea of how long it will take.
In my case from standing at the base of the tree to when I'm sitting and situated it usually takes around 10 minutes. I like to take my time, making sure to be quiet, especially when ascending.
