RE: Field points low/broadheads high?
I use 125 grain Tru-flite 3 blade BH and mine shoot lower than the field points. This drove me nuts for awhile. Finally I bought a new set of BH just for hunting and used the old set for pratice. As far as tearing up your target. I use straw bales for a stop with a cardboard cutout of a deer on it for reference. The bales I bought for $2.00 apiece and the cutout cost me $4.00. You can't pull the broadheads back out though. You must push them all the way through the other side. Fletchings will get sliced off. But my pro shop guy puts new ones on my arrows for a quarter apiece so I feel it's worth it.
