I would get some high tech layers. You should expect to have daytime highs in the 60s and over night lows to the mid 20s for the best case and the worst case could and probably will be highs of 30 and lows of minus 10. Your worst enemy will be getting wet so thats where the high tech comes in. Be sure to have some very good rain gear -- not just a slicker or garbage bag but, some real stuff the stuff that costs like $350 or more for the suit. Stay completely away from any cotton. It is also very possible for you to wake up to 5 feet of snow one morning.
