plan on spending lots of time hiking, lots of time glassing. bring good optics. don't' go planning on killing a monster buck...they are hard to come by. plan on all the weather from 70 degrees to snow. it is a great time in an incredible place, but deer are few and far between. think about doing a drop camp, about $600.00, and you are allowed 150lbs of gear per person. outfitter will pack you in and drop you off, some will come back every couple days to check on you, some won't. i think you could reasonably expect to kill a legal buck, but don't go forr that...go for the experience of it. you will not be sorry.
