Default RE: Xcalibur Exocet Vs TenPoint Elite

Henry: Lets delve into this a little deeper. Does not 10 pt offer "trigger upgrades" from $30 something all the way to over $130??? Do they not suggest string and cable replacement every three years at a price over $60 ??? Did you not read Randy's post [aka 10pt] about the idiot that tore the stitches outta his finger from holding it above rail? Said stitches were aquired by holding fingers above rail 1st time. What good did forearm safety do this admittedly prime candidate for a Darwin Award?? To make matters worse, I just found a site where one can purchase a Phoenix for $379. Do you honestly believe that there is any Xbow out there that will out shoot a Vixen or Phoenix?? The last 4 years scores on USA IBO and European 3-D will put that to rest real quick. Now, I'm gonna argue your side of this debate for ya. Someone who doesn't gun hunt, doesn't bow hunt [in the past] can possibly derive great benefits from the safety features of a 10 pt Elite. One cannot beat them in that respect. Then, there is another aspect to consider. I don't see where one can buy a 10 pt w/o some kind of "package". There's guys like me and Dnk, Smoke,. lots of others that don't need "packages". Another little question; can we use our cheap rope cockers on 10 pts?? Their Acudraw 50 costs $80, and does the same as $19 rope cocker, just attatched to the bow. Comments please??
