I ordered aRuger 25-06 in stainless a few weeks ago andrequested that they do the trigger work as soon as it came into the shop. Butwhenit arrived, the trigger was excellent right out of the box. It was light andcrisp;noneed to do anything to it at all. The gunshop guy kept shakinghis head.
So I ended up getting the trigger work done on my old tang-safety Ruger 7mag instead!
I have no idea whether mine was some weird 'exception to the rule' or if the new Rugers just have good triggers on them. And the Accutrigger may still be better. It's just that ifall theRugers nowcome with triggers like mine, it's sure nota knock against them anymore.
