Default RE: Savage .375 H&H ?

OK...I assure you this is my last post on this subject.....I suspect no one went to AR to read the thread....if you had you'd read the very last post that was a guy that said even his Savage police Tactical didn't feed well.....

Anyway...so far this issue has been viewed 2312 and posted to 96 times.....and in all that time only one person other than the chief combattants have posted positively for Savage reliability.....and that was James B

Further I truly believe his post was sincere and his rifle is as reliable as he claims!!!!

The final vote results are as follows

Winchester and Mauser...........................92
Remington and Ruger..............................16
Double rifles..........................................75
others including Sako and Weatherby.........24
Savage............................................ ......1

We also have a thread here asking what action one would use for a big game custom rifle.......and of course Savage faired very poorly there as well.........

I must say that if there have been major changes made in recent years they haven't made believers out of many folks....had that happened there would have been a much better showing.......

Savage gets very high marks from me for strength of the action...they are extremely strong......economical.....and I like that as much as anyone.....and accuracy...they practically set the standard for the entire industry for accuracy.....but it ends there.....and abruptly so.....and I now rest my case.....
