The 10/22 is no doubt a great rifle, and I don't think you can't go wrong with it.

Recently, I picked up a Marlin 39A. While it is expensive, I am in love with it. I just love lever guns, and the fact that it shots shorts as well is really cool. It is definetly an adult's .22.
