I will sure as hell give them a chance. Many of the other companies have had ups and downs as well. Many common folks even in Africa use some pretty common rifles. All in all I have never had a problem with a Savage until this one bad extractor. No problems to feed, certainly no safty problems and never a function problem with the bolt or anything
