I agree you get what you pay for I own mostly Burris scopes but this was a gift from my son and to me just that fact makes it worth $1000.00 even if it is a peace of junk at least he was thinking of me and I would never tell him that it is a peace of sh$t I just thanked him for thinking of me. He lives in michigan and will never know because he does not like to hunt. I must admitt he is a good son he just made a bad choice.
