I'd say $350 is on the very low end of the scale as well. CMP is selling most M1s these days starting at $500 (
http://www.odcmp.com/Services/Rifles/m1garand.htm). A good place to get lots of very detailed information is
www.jouster.com - enthusiasts, competitive shooters, authors, etc frequently contribute and I've learned the most about the M1 from that board. M1's are just awesome to shoot - mine was stolen and I haven't replaced it yet - while M1 market prices have climbed at least $150 average in the last 2yrs.
