RE: practicing from stand
When I practice from a stand I make sure the shot counts. I will wear my full hunting outfit, from the face mask to the wool socks. I will take one arrow in the stand with me and act like it is a true hunting situation. Each shot takes about 15 minutes to complete.It takesso long because itrequires me to climb in my climber, strap my stand in, and hoist my bow up. I then follow my shooting procedure, all the while thinking I am shooting at a deer. Although it is time consuming, it is how I practice- one shot at a time.
