As far as I know, no states that I have heard of have laws preventing one from hunting with a Liberty bow for any reason. I have been asked this before at the shop, and I know New York specifically doesn't. I work at the shop tomorrow night, and will ask Howard (inventor and owner of Liberty) about this to see if he has ran into any problems.
