I hate to put down a seemingly good organization, but QDMA is like DU, NRA, Rocky Mountain Elk, etc.in that they are all about the money. All their concepts are great, but seeminglyevery time my phone rings, one of the above organizations has their "hand" out for a "donation" for one issue or another. A new QDMA chapter was just formed in my area, and I have learned ALOT about how they really operate. I am not impressed.
I have been a member of QDMA for about 5 years and have never been solicited for a donation. The membership which includes excellent deer information magazines is abargain IMHO. I'vehelped arrange two seminars in the Troy, Al area a couple of years ago that were very enjoyable for all that attended.
