As you know, I shoot a Hoyt UltraTec w/ the new Pro Fit Custom Grip. I have the standard installed but really like the high wrist. Now, I've been known to be cheap on occasion, and if I don't have to spend $45 for a new grip I won't.
Have any of you ever altered a standard grip of any model to a high wrist? I was thinking of wrapping it with something, like that stuff that limbsavers makes. What are your thoughts?
My proshop told me that I needed to put more "hand" on my grip instead of not doing so. When I first bought it I could not get a good paper tear and he could. I guess this has nothing to do with your question but it just reminded me of it.
Whats up with these new grips? Enlighten me.
