If they want it bad enough theyll get no matter how big a cable and lock your using. If they can't cut the cable they'll cut the stand! I only leave stands up over night that I make for around 5-7 dollars. This way I'm not out alot of money. Also if they steal my stand, thy'll earn it for its not very light. Steel and 3/4 plywood make these sturdy and heavy.
