You mean.....like doe urine? In my opinion, no. Not just early season, but not at all. HOWEVER, that depends on your definition of "work." The commercials and ads make them seem like they attract bucks from miles off. No way. They do, on the other hand, maybe hold a buck that may have been passing through anyway long enough for a shot. A scent trail leading back to one may work, but once again, you're spreading the scent far enough that a buck may coincedentally pick up the trail and decide to follow it. Don't believe the hype, that's my 2 cents worth...
