Eastern VA is right!! It is incredible just how much you can learn from spending time in the woods. I have hunted for 15yrs. and normally learn something new each season. As far as getting started goes... you will see more deer if you have some agriculture on your property. (corn, wheat, etc..) I would invest in something to bring deer on your property. It is never too early to start.Late spring early summer is a great time to manage your herd!!!
