Weatherby has always made me happy. This would have been the exception, and I am very glad things turned out as they did. Again, very accurate guns (I won't repeat how accurate though) and great knock down power. I owned a 300 Sporter, 340 Stainless/Synthetic, 30-378, two338-378s, and 7mm, without any complaints until the last. All very easy to shoot, except the 340 which left me and my brother bruised for a few days. TheAccumarks with an SB serial number have the SACO barrels. Weatherby phased in Criterion barrels in 01 / 02in some of their guns, but by 03all Accumarks have Criterion barrels. THIS IS MY UNDERSTANDING AND MAY NOT BE ABSOLUTLY ACCURATE.
I agree though, I guess it's love em or hate em.
