Jhunter111, I have been following this thread since you started it and am glad Weatherby is replacing the gun. They always in my experience stand behind their products(I have used them 2x and they came thru)and hopefully the gun you get will shoot to your expectations. I have never seen a company create such a controversy like Weatherby..kinda reminds me of Zeiss or Swarovski scopes. Some people like them and some don't and the ones that don't really hate them. Not sure what you paid for it but I have a ballpark figure in my head and if so you could have spent a lot more and gotten a lot less with some manufacturers and worse customer service. AT the end of the day if it shoots welland you like it is all that matters. Barrel on the gun was probably a SACO barrel since Weatherby either owns them outright or has them contracted to build their barrelled actions.
