You know James, I honestly don't care much for venison although I would hunt it & cook it if really hungry. However, bison on the other hand, the whole family likes. These are such big critters... thick skinned, amazing coats, 800 to 900 pound cows, 2000 lb bulls, I read they have gotten to 3000! Well, when the kids are out of college I just may trot my 45 70 out west to bag one. Gotta figure out how to get the meat home though. I see the cartridge market today as saturated for deer hunting. When I see the American Buff, my instincts are to go bigger!
