Default RE: Bedford targets

This was my first time going to Bedford and my group had a great time. The weather was great and the mud was almost nonexistant. I will agree that the prices are getting out of hand. When we went to the shoots in the southern triple crown they had gone up across the board and then again at Bedford. When there are two shooter in a family as my wife and I are, it gets pretty expensive.
The courses though to me were fairly tough and the terrain made for some tough judging. I also shot A B C and D ranges from the red stakes and I thought the targets looked very new to me. I shot all 40 on Friday and was one of the last groups out that evening. I think the club did a great job of making the courses tough to judge and shoot.
I would like to thank all of those that helped me and my friends to be able to shoot all 40 targets in a day. We had a late start due to having to drive over from Seymour, Indiana from the hotel and that put us a little behind. We shot the first 30 with two different groups of shooters and had to join another group of 3 open shooters to finish out our last ten targets. All three groups we shot with were great. They really made me feel at ease and helped me to overcome my nervousness at being in a new place. After just a couple of targets they were asking us about where we were from and if we had any wild hogs to hunt down in Alabama. Thanks for helping to make our Bedford experience a great one!
