Default RE: Do you believe hunter orange is effective in preventing hunting accidents?

Someone is shot every year in La. because of mistaken identity. It amazes me how a person cannot distinguish a deer from a human being. I guess I just don't understand. These people should not be allowed to own a gun. I hunt on my own property but still wear an orange cap while rifle hunting. That is all we are required to wear in La. while hunting on private land. It's just not worth the risk. I definitely believe hunter orange reduces the number of accidents or deaths in the field, but it still doesn't totally do away with them. There are always going to be idiots out there with guns. Wear orange, it's the law.
