Ground Venison Jerky??
Hey guys I have a ton of ground venison in the freezer. I was thinking of a quick way to use it was to make jerkey. I just wasn't sure if anyone had any luck or if it was possible to make jerky using ground meat. Every recipe I have seen has called for shank meat or other solid meats. I was thinking of just picking up the Cabelas jerkey gun, and putting a few batches in the oven with some different seasonings. Can someone please give me some insight on making it with ground meat.
