Yes their is a difference in some of the waxes. I personally can't prove it with scientific evidence but after using the ML-6 it convinced me. It doesn't flake off so easily and seems to adhere better to the string fibers than the old Tex-Tite I too was using.

I bought some thanks mainly to gibblet and tried it. Glad I did.
