what i was trying to say is a 21' footer can ride as rough as an 18 in the "wrong hands" and vice-versa someone runnining an 18 that knows what they are doing is alot smoother than someone that dosen't have a clue in a bigger boat, myself for big water 18' or 18'6" would be my minumum, i am currently running a 20' hull, sometimes i wish it was smaller, but all the storage and room sure is nice.
