Default RE: To Josh

allisons are just to light
have you ever been in one, they ride and drive great even in rough water, they are a fine boat, the only two drawbacks ihave ever seen with them is the lay-out, and i don't like sitting flat on the floor, and those are just my personel prefrences, but if your serious about speed, allison, stroker, and a few others that slip my aging memory would be the ticket, all the hulls today are light years ahead of the hulls they replaced. while ranger may not be the fastest hull on the water it is a fine built boat, the triton also share something in common with the ally's the hull design had help from darris allison, if you want to learn more about paul or darris allison do a search on them, jerry jaco and companyhave set numerious speed records in allisons, myself my old lead sled will do just fine @68-72 on GPSdepending on load and fuel, in fact i am finding alot of times it catches more fish than any of the hot rod boats, but them guys sure look like their having fun rippin down the river at 90+, granted at times the extra speed would be handy, but the times i have fished out of allisons, bullets, bumble bees, i would have much rather been in my boat, mine rides like a caddy, a big slow caddy[:-], but it serves my purpose, catchin fish
