I bought a Z-5 last fall and took three deer with it this past season. While I paid full price (unlike the lucky dogs like you that stole them :-), I don't regret it for a minute. I bought a Nikon Buckmaster 3X9 off Ebay and mounted it with the Talley one-piece mounts. It is a real clean, simpleset-up that looks cool and functions perfectly. I never used my 30-06 last season and probably won't again this fall. The gun shootsgreat and is easy to clean. I think it is the best value in muzzleloading rifles out there, but that is just my biased opinion. I may consider upgrading the recoil pad, but other than that nit-picky thing I am completely satisfied with it in every respect. Link to picture is below.
