my barrel length is 29 inchs on my t/c hawkins.original sights were at 6 and 1/2. i moved it slowly out towards the front sight and at 14 inchs it got 90% clear.the only thing is the front sight now fills up the v-peep ,not bad but not as much room as when it was at 6 and 1/2.actually ,i think it gives you at tighter sight which may improve your shots as there is only a little room to wander now inside the v-peep.before you could move front sight around inside peep.going to try it out side on tuesday to see how it works with sun ,woods , etc.
