lead can be obtained from a number of sources. The main thing is you want pure lead. Plumbing supply houses carry lead ingots. Right now lead is kind of expensive to be honest. Also old lead pipe is pure but you need to clean it and flux it a lot to get all the crud off it. Old lead roof flashing is also pure. Stay away from Wheel Weights, and that kind of mixed lead.
Also get a bees wax candle if you can. You can use it to smoke and carbon your mold also a little bees wax can help flux the lead. A long nose lighter comes in handy as well.
