Default RE: Hind Sight Rear Mounted Sight

I bought it last year and used it but took it off and went back to the peep. It is a great idea but like so many other products, close but no cigar. The problem I had was the cross hairs were too thick. They block out most of your sight picture. In the dark the florescent (sp?) coating on the cross hairs completely washed out any sight of your target. It worked great as long as my target was in bright sunshine but if the target was in any kind of shadows it was difficult to see the target. Cmdr 45: Your are supposed to pick a pin that you will use for the hindsight. Remember, this is used to get a consistent anchor and alignment. If you use your twenty yard pin only the tenty yard pin will be centered when you are at anchor. That will be the only pin that will be cenetered. So how do use the other pins? You center the hindsight with your twenty yard pin (if that is the pin you chose to use with the hindsight) and put your thirty yard pin on your target. It works great except for what I mentioned above.

Go to this sight www.hindsightco.com/HSMultiPins.htm and it will give you a good idea of what I'm trying to say.

The harder I work, the luckier I get!
