I'm really not sure of your point. I bought a production rifle (Accumark) with custom embellishments. I expect the production rifle (Accumark), be as it is claimed. It's really very simple. I do believe people who make barrels, Kreiger, Criterion, would know their barrels from a hole in the ground. So yes I trust them. They supply Weatherby with the barrels, why would they lie?
Lie? No. Some know it all at the factory, maybe. What I am saying, instead of wasting your time calling every body under the sun, go out and actually fix the rifle and be done with it.
