Found a 3-D shoot this coming Sunday at, of all places, the AR chapter on Bowsite. It's being put on by some trad club, but all are welcome, and I would be first to enter w/ crossbow. Since I've never been to one before, I'm kinda wondering what to expect. Five hours round trip for about 40 shots. The guy I talked to on the phone said they have two stakes in front of each target, the close one is 5-25yds for trads and the other for compounds, targets out to 35. He said since I have a recurve xbow I could shoot the close stakes!! Figured that would really whizz the regulars off, so told him I thought I could get 35 yds out of my xbow "on a good day". Anybody got any tips or ideas on how to do this?? I'll take all the help I can get!
