Default RE: Bear berrys?

I don't know if they would grow here but when I hunt Newfoundland the bears go nuts over what the locals call Partridge Berry. They are small red cranberry type berries that grow on a short bush between the rocks on the tundra. They are really delicious and I always eat a bunch when we are glassing for Caribou. The bear scat is loaded with the color and skins of the berry. Around here black berries are a real draw for black bears.
