Default Spring gobbler opening day in VA..how did you do?

Today was opening day in VA and it started off with a light drizzle and turned into more rain after a short while. Before the rain picked up I had set up my ground blind and decoys on a powerline clearing and started calling. I recieved a few gobbles that seemed to be far off and on higher ground. I kept the calling up and then the rain started to pick up even more and no more gobbles were heard. I guess the birds decided not to get soaked and sought some cover. Anyway, I gave it some more time and the rain didn't look like it was gonna let up so I packed up and headed for home. Wouldn't you know it, the rain had let up when I got home, which was 25 miles away. It seems the weather people had forecasted rain all day today and by 9 AM it was done for the day, what a dissappointment. Either way it was worth it just to hear some gobbles in reply to my calls. Monday calls for some better weather, sunny and in the 60's, so I'll go back and give it a try then. This is my 1st spring gobbler season in VA and I'd like to start it off with some success in the first few days. I heard 2 shots probably within a 1 1/2 miles of my location. How did you do in VA today?
