Even though I decided against getting a Thumbhole stock for my Omega I gotta say when you shoulder it they really feel a bit more solid, steadier so to speak. I also like the way they look...

My thing against them is when you are carrying them as if you would while moving in the field, weather in route to a stand or while stalking. To me they feel uncomfortable, but that is just me. I really only walked around carrying one for a15 or 20minutes but it seemed that my thumb was at a bad angle to carry around a weapon like that for any length of time.

If you only have a short walk to a stand and dont stalk I would say they are pretty nice.

Also, unless someone comes up with some kind of concrete information that would sway you one way or the other I think you will findpersonal experience is the best thing you should go with.
