If it offers any more hope for you, I recall when Mark Drury of Drury Outdoors killed what was then the largest whitetail ever arrowed on video. He established his setup based on one criterion: he found a lone, but huge, whitetail track.

I myself would have a hard time sitting a stand for much time based on one single track, but it sounds like the one you've found is good enough to generate some real excitement. Good luck to you!!
