Anyone else encounter this and what is the remedy if it is a problem. I like to keep the scope as tight to the gun as possible thus keeping my head in a more natural position. Any help or insight would be much appreciated.

You might indeed be able to see the front sight blade in your scope. This is particularly true on a low-mag. setting like 2.5X or lower. It certainly makes NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL, as your scope will "see around" thesight so that the target will not be obscured!
