The guns are gone from the store that i shop at also, but when i talked to the guy behind the counter, he said that it is because they were selling a very small percentage of what the stores in other areas are. I don't see how it's a huge deal. From what he said, it was ghetto acting gangsterish kids that were the ones buying guns in there anyway. I'm not so worried about the fact that they don't sell them anymore.

A little story about why i like walmart.....

A few years back we were getting ready for gun season, and were buying a few things last minute. We went to walmart and needed several orange vests because we couldn't find them from the last season. We found out that they were out, and talked to someone to see if there wore more in back or somewhere else. He checked and said that he was indeed out of stock. At that time, a manager came up to us and told us to wait for a minute, he radioed back and someone brought out three of the orange vests that there cart pushers wear while they are in the parking lot. He gave us three vests for free and said that safety was the most important thing. If you ask me, that is not a store that is trying to push some sort of anti gun or anti hunting image.

If they are not going to sell guns in the inner city, which is what the associate told me, thats fine, its business. They are not giving up on guns sales altogether and are probably the most gun friendly of any of the big box retailers..
