Atlasman,
I have not had a chance to chrono it yet. I still have the Bowtech string silencers and a rubber tube style peep on it that the dealer installed both of which will be removed soon which will likely pick me up close to 10fps. I also have one of those new magnesium peeps on order that only weighs 2.5 grains that G5 just came out with. As for the Trykon I think you will find that while it shoots very nice I did not like the draw cycle at all. It seems when you get to the valley that it crashes into it and the whole bow shakes when you back into the wall. If you do a search you will see several others also comment on the same thing not just me. It was also the heaviest of the bunch. And also being cam specific on draw length was a deal breaker for me. There was a guy selling a brand new one over on archerytalk.com and I asked why he was selling it so quickly, his response was it was easier to sell it than get a different draw length cam switched. If you have only tried the Bowtechs with the speed module you really should test one with the smooth version, amazingly smooth !!!!!!! And I almost forgot, you realize that 06 Bowtechs have strings made of 452x right? Basically the Hoyt and Mathews need a decent string right off the bat which is an additional expenditure.

Thanks again..........I will be totally honest about my ignorance of strings.........I have no clue what makes a good string or what makes one bad. I know the string on the XT looks like crap and it felt very "bouncy" or "rubbery" and not the "stiff" feeling I get from my Winners Choice. Don't know if that makes sense or not.

I think the Trykon will be shot just for peace of mind........I will be shocked if I come home with one but you never know.
