Default RE: H&R Single Shot

I have an H&R rifle in 45/70 Govt and 243 Win. As far as adjusting the trigger, I think a competent gunsmith should be able to handle it, however my trigger was fine out of the box. The scope mount is solid and hasn't given me any trouble. Both barrels are very accurate. I was especially surprised at the 45/70 which was shooting a golfball sized group at 100 yards. The other good thing about these rifles is that you can send them back to the factory to be fitted with an additional barrel at a very resonable cost. I am very happy with my H&R and plan on getting another one in the near future.
