I'm interested in buying a single shot 30.06 Ultra Comp H&R rifle model#SB2-836 I have several questions and was wondering does anyone here own one or know anything about the H&R rifles? Can the trigger be adjusted by a local gunsmith or does it have to be sent back to the factory? How solid is the scope dovetail mounts in the 30.06 caliber,are they as solid and reliable as the one and two piece steel rings and bases? Also are they accurate? I know thats alot of questions but i won't know if i don't ask. Thank You!
