You got the rare bad Taurus. I have had at least a dozen of them and never a hitch with any. I sure prefer the to the Smith 38's that I have owned. Probably six or eight. I like the S&W if they are to carry a lot and shoot a little or when used only with light loads. I have owned all the Glocks except the GAP 45 and the Baby Glocks. No complaints.
