We don't have much for trees. Would a guy just hide behind the sign??

There are a lot of tactics to hunting deer. Baiting ( if legal ), road hunting ( if legal ), driving/pushing deer, running dogs ( if legal ), hunting over food plots,stillhunting, stalking, tracking,tree stand, tower standor ground blind hunting. I am not a bigfan of the firstthree methods but all methods work depending on the area.Running dogs is illegal here so not familar with that one.

Best advicewould be to get know the habits of deer, know the area you hunt and how the deer use the area. From there, you can decide which method to apply to make it as easy or challenging as you like.

Don't get stuck on one method as you might be missing outby not tryingthe others. I think that is important especially now that my son is hunting. I want him to know how to use every method even though I don't think much ofbaiting or driving deer. I had to draw the line at roadhunting though!! [:'(] Who knows where he will end up in life. The more he knows now,the more he can enjoy his hunting later on in life.What methods he chooses to use when he leaves home is up to him. I decided what I wanted out of hunting and so should everyone.
