Stalking/still hunting is by far the most diffcult means to get a deer. In most cases they see, hear, or smell you long before you see them. They usually present some of the most difficult shots as far as presentation and a very limited period of time to get the shot off. You also have to be very knowledgeable of the area you are hunting and habits or routines of the animals in the area.

It can be the most exciting and satisfying means when successful but success this way does not come easily.
