My hunt, and the brotherhood I felt with my fellow hunters will always be in my heart and soul. But it's the sense of self worth and value I walked away with that means the most.

That is the number one reason I hunt. I never hunt alone unless it is with my bird dogs and then it would be better with my buddy Frank. When I hunt its with my best friends, Frank and my dogs!. Well said Stac! Again its the wisdon of a woman and the foolishness of men that makes my day that makes me smile. Stac, you are one of the guys for sure! I don't know who said it but here goes "the best friendships are forged in the field" or something like that.
