Is the top of the slide under the rear dovetail smooth? When I remove the set screw it looks like there is a hole or notch in the top of the slide thatthe set screwgoes down into to center the rear sight. Its hard to see through the small hole but thats what it looks like. I have some break free so I'll give that a try.
