To the right? No. To the left.

Get some penetrant in the set screw hole and around the edges of the mating surfaces and let it soak for a day. Try using a brass nosed dovetail drift (not sure if this is the exact term - a guy at the armorer's had one, not sure if you buy them or make them).Get the slide off the frame before doing any wacking.
